Melanie Spitzer, a 2000 graduate of Warren High School, now assistant manager of the popular "The Vig" Chicago restaurant on Wells Street, took The Quill along for an adventure in Iceland. Melanie is reading The Quill in an ice cave that formed under the glacier. The name of the part of the glacier where she hiked and climbed is called S—lheimajškull, which means sunny world glacier. It's located on the south coast of Iceland. It was Melanie's favorite day of the whole trip. When you go on a trip "Take The Quill Along" and take a picture of it and send it to us.
