First State Bank to Celebrate 30 of Ag. Strategies on January 30th

First State Bank of Illinois will host their 30th Annual Ag Strategies dinner meeting on Monday evening, January 30, 2017 at the Lake Hill Winery on the west edge of Carthage.  

Registration and social time will begin at 6:00 p.m. followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. with the program to follow. 

This year s keynote speaker will be nationally acclaimed Voice of Agriculture Orion Samuelson.

Orion Samuelson is heard six days a week on WGN Radio in Chicago, where he has served as Agri-business Director since 1960. 

Orion presents 18 agricultural reports daily on the station and is also heard daily on radio stations with his syndicated National Farm Report and syndicated Samuelson Sez commentary programs. 

In addition, Orion and Max Armstrong host the one-hour Saturday Morning Show on WGN Radio and are seen weekly on RFD-TV as co-hosts of This Week in Agri-Business.

Mr. Samuelson also added author with his autobiography  You Can't Dream Big Enough.

He'll be speaking on this very topic, which has been an inspiration to young people everywhere.

The evening will also include Bob Rhea's  Top 10 Ag Strategies for 2017 , information on important trends in agriculture, the annual commodity price challenge, door prizes and much more. 

This will be the thirtieth consecutive year First State has hosted their Ag Strategies dinner meeting. 

Anyone with an interest in agriculture is encouraged to attend.
