Meet Your Neighbor Greg Blythe, born in Macomb and raised and lives in rural La Harpe on the Fountain Green blacktop. Greg's parents (deceased) are Keith and Mildred Blythe. Keith was a farmer, and Greg has been involved in farming most of his life.

Greg attended La Harpe High School and Spoon River College in Canton.

He is Vice President of his family's Illinois corporation, Blythe Enterprise Inc. established in 1998, a privately held company at 2855 North State Highway 94, La Harpe.

He has been in the Seed Business for 50 years and is currently a District Sales Manager. Greg also is involved with auto and machinery sales.

He and his wife Dianne have two children. Their son Lance Blythe lives in La Harpe, and daughter Melissa Rhode lives in Carlock.

Greg is a members of the Durham United Methodist Church and a member of the National Corn Growers.

He enjoys boating and spending time with grandkids.
