Meet your Illini West Senior Athlete Whitney Young who has enjoyed running track this past season.
"Running at Sectional," Young said, "was the highlight of her career as an athlete."
She said about this year, "we could have worked a little harder."
Her advice to underclassmen is to "always think about the future."
Whitney says her role model is her dad.
Her favorite subject at Illini West is "art".
Whitney loves eating pasta and her favorite restaurant is The Olive Garden.
Her favorite movie she says is - "My Sister's Keeper". She also enjoys country music.
Her favorite athlete is the popular Michael Jordan.
Her parents are Kent Young and her mom is Tracey Eland.
Whitney's future plans are to attend college and become a registered nurse.
