Meet your Illini West Senior Athlete Damian Andrews who finished his final season participating in Cross Country at Illini West.
"I think we had a good time at it," Damian said. "And it was a good season for me."
The highlight of his career was, "just being a part of the sports I was involved in, and going out to work as a team. "
Damian said he believes that all kids should experience being a part of something.
His advice to underclassmen is "Get out of your comfort zone, explore, try new things. Do things with others, so you can share the experience."
His favorite athlete is Aaron Rodgers, a favorite place to eat - Giradano's, and favorite food is lasagna, a favorite movie is "Castaway", favorite music Blackbear. Mathematics is his favorite subject.
Damian's parents are Shannon Andrews and Matthew Sprague. He says his role model is his grandmother.
