Patrick McKinney
Patrick McKinney is a West Central senior and was on the basketball team this year.
"In the beginning of the season the team was having a tough time getting used to our new coach and we are now finally getting used to him and his way of coaching. We ended the Christmas tournament with two wins" Patrick said about this year's season.
Patrick said the highlight of his athletic career was getting 2nd in state for 7th grade boys basketball. He advises underclassmen to stay in school.
In his freetime, Patrick enjoys eating BBQ wings at Buffalo Wild Wings. His favorite movie is Central Intelligence, he enjoys listening to hip hop and country music, and his favorite subject is P.E. Outside of basketball, Patrick is also involved with baseball and football.
Patrick's favorite college is University of Iowa, while Kobe Bryant is his top athlete.
After graduation, Patrick plans to attend college to become an electrician.
