Michaela Duffy
Meet your Illini West Senior Athlete Michaela Duffy who enjoyed playing volleyball this year.
Michaela said "I think that we had a good season and we all improved a lot. I am very thankful for the group of girls we had."
A highlight for Michaela was being able to go to Sectional and play.
Her advice to underclassmen is "to always work hard and give everything you have because it will pay off in the end. Also, you only get four years to play in high school so enjoy every minute you get!"
Michaela's says Kerri Walsh Jennings is her favorite athlete.
Michaela's favorite food is seafood and she loves Red Lobster. She said her favorite music is Pop Music and her favorite movie is The Polar Express.
Michaela's favorite subject in school is Science and she plans on going to Southeastern Community College and take nursing courses.
Michaela's parents are Ed and Kellie Stewart.
