The beginning phase of concrete, electrical, and steele work has begun this week for the erection of a new water tank which eventually will replace the Stronghurst Water Tower seen in the background. Maguire Iron, Inc. of Sioux Falls, South Dakota is doing the work with a completion date scheduled for October 2018. The firm is well known in the industry, and according to the company website, Gene Jones, Sr., purchased Maguire Iron from Ed Maguire in 1958, then he "set out to develop the company into a provider that could serve communities in the Midwest through the entire lifecycle of their towers."
Today, led by Gene Jr., Scott, and Brad Jones, Maguire Iron, Inc. can perform projects of all sizes from concept and construction to service, maintenance, and repair, fulfilling their father's vision.
