Bagpipers Highlight Opening Ceremonies At Classic Car Show

La Harpe- It may not be what you expect at a classic car show but bagpipping is getting more popular across the United States during concert bands and ceremonies bringing a lot of interest to events.

The 10:00 a.m. opening event was quite moving as the very formal attire of the bagpippers shown through as did their excellent music performance.

This is the fourth year bagpipers have come to perform at opening ceremonies of the La Harpe Classic Car Show while they are attending the Nauvoo summer "City of Joseph" pageant between July 11 and August 5th. Bagpipers come for a two-week stay with their families. They come from various groups, all over the United States and Canada with members coming from various types of groups with different styles.

They've played at Macomb, Carthage, and Burlington
