Karri Wallace who was born and raised in La Harpe. Karri is a new fifth grade teacher at La Harpe Elementary School this year.

Karri's parents are Ron and Penny Brewer of La Harpe. Penny is retired. Ron Brewer is the owner of RB's Pitstop and also works construction.

Karri's grandmother is Louise Collins.

Karri graduated from La Harpe High School in 1999. She then attended Western Illinois University graduating in 2003 with a degree in Elementary Education.

Karri married Adam Wallace on January 5, 2015. Adam is an engineer on chemical tow boats. Karri describes their life a unique situation. Her husband is away for work for 28 days and then is home for 14 days.

Karri describes her children as the light of her life. Bryce is 10 years old and is a 5th grader. Myah is a 1 1/2.

Karri has worked at several different jobs, stay-at-home mom, at Ayerco in La Harpe and her first job was working at Tastee Freeze in La Harpe. Her current job teaching 5th grade in La Harpe is her "dream" job.

Karri enjoys spending time with her kids, family and friends. She especially enjoys spending time with her husband when he is home. She loves teaching kids. She likes playing board games.

Karri's family are very close and they take family get togethers and holidays very seriously. They enjoy vacationing together in the Ozarks.

Karri's future plans include continuing to teach at La Harpe Elementary where she hopes to teach until she retires. She also hopes to raise happy, healthy and successful kids.
