The Illini West Varsity Football team lost to the Farmington Farmers by a score of 48 - 34 on Friday.
Farmington started the scoring off right away as they would reach pay dirt twice before the Illini West offense ever touched the football.
However, the Chargers would score on their very first possession when Quarterback Jackson Porter connected with Connor Artman on a 40 yard touchdown pass.
Artman would go on to score another touchdown late in the game when he returned a Farmington kickoff 80 yards into the end zone.
Joe Adkisson, Jace Norman, and Dominic Foster would all score touchdowns for the Chargers in this contest as well behind the strong blocking of offensive linemen like Tanner Coulter.
Defensively, the Chargers were led by Jace Norman's seven tackles. Drake Huss would add five tackles of his own and Colton Sargent recorded an interception for the Chargers. Illini West will play this coming Friday against Bushnell-West Prairie at 7:00 p.m. in Sciota.
