Meet Your Neighbor

Meet your neighbor Claire Finch who was born and raised in La Harpe.

Claire is the daughter of Marte and Sherri McKee.

Marte is self -employed. Sherri works at Memorial Hospital in Carthage, where she is currently the storeroom manager. She has worked at the hospital for 14 years. Marte and Sherri have been married for 28 years.

Claire's grandparents are Janet McKee and the late Larry McKee of La Harpe, the late Donald and Barbara Rittenhouse, and Karen and Ira Liggett of Colchester.

Claire has been married to Broc Finch for three years. Broc works for Wells Fargo.

Claire has two step-sons. Laine Finch is 14 years old. He will graduate from 8th grade next year. Lucas Finch who is 10 years old is in 5th grade.

Claire has 2 brothers. Dade who is 24, works for a labor union. Carson, who is 18, is a senior at Illini West.

Claire graduated from La Harpe High School in 2007. She attended Culver Stockton College in Canton, MO and graduated in 2011 with a Bachelor's degree in Science.

For the past two years, Claire has been working at the Mohr Veterinary in Lomax as a vet's assistant. She is currently, also, filling in at the La Harpe Public Library.

Claire enjoys crafting, reading, and spending time with her dog. Charlotte, and her cat, Daisy.

Claire and Broc stay busy with their boy's sporting events and school activities. The Finch family enjoyed a road trip to St. Augustine, FL this past summer and they look forward to coming up with the next family adventure.
