And yes, I'm running for County Board
Flood 2008, 3.7 million ineligible funds. Used for what? 23 small demolition and 13 asbestos testing. That seems very expensive to me.
2011 audit found that something was wrong. The price was too much? Wrong paper work, I don't know the truth and wonder who does.
2013 the county appeals the ruling getting a 3.2 million reduction on what basis? FEMA found the missing money, someone dotted the eyes or crossed the Ts.
What happened to the money? Did Henderson County hire a high priced lawyer or what, who helped reduce the bill.
2016 September. We were told how much we owed FEMA. Now the panic. We know who was in charge of the county board in 2008, the Dems. I bet none of them resign or offer to pay the bill.
I could go on and on, but all I want to do is ask the people to vote.
To vote for the honest people who are on the ballot this year.
Not the one's who are going to make you pay for their mistakes again and again.
