State Track Meet

Jordon Roller, a 7th grader at West Central Middle School, shown brightly in state competition as he brought home the top medallion in the 7B contest, flying over 110 meters of hurdles in a time of 16.59s, making him the 2016 1st Place Illinois State Champion!

Roller also placed 12th in the long jump with his 16'11.5" jump and then was 14th in the 7B High Jump with his 4'8" jump.

The West Central Middle School Track State Qualifiers braved the rain, cold, and wind this past Friday and Saturday in East Peoria.

It was a long two days, but these athletes weathered the storm, and many along with Roller, brought home some hardware, and a couple of new personal records.
