Meet your neighbor Dawn Waters, born in Cedar Rapids, IA and who now lives in Lomax.
Dawn is working at Oak Lane Nursing and Rehab in Stronghurst as an occupational therapist.
Dawn's parents and her grand-father are retired and still live in the Cedar Rapids area. She also has three older brothers.
Dawn has a daughter 24, and a son 21, and she has a 6 month old granddaughter.
In September 25, 2015 Dawn married her second husband.
Dawn attended Jefferson High School in Cedar Rapids.
At age 40, Dawn went back to school at Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids, IA.
In December 2013 she started working full time with Rehab Care. She works for them in both La Harpe and in Stronghurst.
In her free time, Dawn enjoys watching movies, working on home improvements, spending time with her family and working in her yard.
She enjoys special family time together during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.
In the future Dawn hopes to see her family more often and work on home improvements to a permanent residence.
She would also like to increase her knowledge of occupational therapy in order to become an even better therapist to help her patients.
