Meet your neighbor Erin Neff of La Harpe.
Erin is currently the assistant Librarian at La Harpe Carnegie PLD.
She will be leaving that job in August however to start working at the La Harpe Elementary school as a Librarian Aide.
Erin was born in November of 1982. She was raised by her mom Beth who passed away from ALS in 2007.
She attended La Harpe High School, graduating in 2001. Erin started working in the La Harpe Library while she was in high school.
She has been married to her high school sweetheart Josiah Neff for 12 years.
Josiah, who grew up in La Harpe, works for the La Harpe Telephone Company.
Erin and Josiah have two children, Cooper, 10 who is going into 5th grade at La Harpe Elementary, and Myles, 7, who will be in 2nd grade this fall.
Erin's sister Katie is married to Michael Cation. They live in Austin, TX and have one son Graeme who turned 1 year old in May.
Erin's grandmother, Jean Louden, 93, lives in La Harpe. She is a retired nurse. Her grandfather Franklin Louden who passed away in 1992 was a farmer.
Erin's hobbies include reading, watching movies, decorating, DIY'ing, cooking and baking. She also enjoys spending time with her boys.
In June, Erin and her family enjoyed a trip to California. They stayed at Dillon Beach, toured San Francisco and visited her aunt in Oakland.
Although Erin has enjoyed her time working at the La Harpe Public Library she is looking forward to her new job at the school this fall.
