Donna Wood founded her business Wood Tax and Accounting in September 1990. She had just completed her Bachelor of Arts degree from Western Illinois University in Accounting. She received her EA certification in 1990 and her CPA license in 1992.
Donna has gradually built up a business to serve local businesses, farmers, and individuals.
Today, Wood Tax and Accounting provides: tax preparation, payroll service, accounting, sales tax, budgets and levies for local governmental units. In addition corporation, partnership, trust and estate tax returns are prepared. "We are a year round business, available for tax advice to our clients," Donna said.
The Administrative Assistant is Marcia Neff, and Maggie Link provides tax season data entry.
During non-tax season, Wood Tax and Accounting is open M-W and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p. m. (noon).
In tax season they are open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. M-F and 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. (noon).
