Truck Shining At The Car Show
A 1950 Chevrolet 3100 pickup that had belonged to his dad, which had been pulled out of the weeds in Ursa, IL in 1985, pretty much in ruins, has won Jeff Nichols of Stronghurst first place in its class at the 18th Annual La Harpe Classic car show Saturday. "Its brakes didn't work, doors wouldn't stay closed, and it wouldn't have passed inspection, Nichols said, so his father parked it.
