Miriam Rutzen, Illini West and Harvard graduate from the Sciota area, has headed East over the next 6.5 weeks. She took her WCES Flat Stanley, a backpack, a tote bag, and, of course, "The Quill" along, and she has taken, "a large dose of patience, prayer, and chill" as she catches sunrises across the globe with "phenomenal" friends and family, she says.
Pictured is "Day 1 in NYC", then she was off to Europe and Asia. Later she will return stateside with a long layover in LA. Geranimo!!
