Meet your neighbor, Amanda Brown, who returned to La Harpe two years ago after living in Chicago land for 12 years.
Amanda's father Larry Brown, works for BNSF and her mother, Teresa Cox, is employed at the First State Bank.
Her grandparents, who are deceased, are Charles and Janet Cox and Harold and Irene Brown.
Amanda has one brother, Bryan Brown, who works for BNSF. Also the joy of her life are nephew, Logan Brown, 3rd grade and Kylie Brown, Kindergarten.
Amanda graduated from La Harpe High School and attended Western Illinois University where she received her BS in fashion merchandising and a minor in marketing. She is licensed in Illinois Real Estate.
Amanda worked in retail management for 12 years at "Old Navy" and "Victoria's Secret" but has recently changed careers and now works for Ruhl & Ruhl Realtors.
Amanda says she loves going to the movies, riding her bike, and spending time with her nephew and niece.
Her special family vacations and traditions brings back many memories, especially with her grandparents.
As to future plans Amanda says she will focus on her career, try to take a vacation in the next couple of years, and spend time with her family.
