Here it is November, and the holidays are upon us.

The important Veterans Day Remembrance is next Wednesday, November 11th.

A special salute to our veterans such who have fought the good fight for America.

A salute to Ray Shafer of Biggsville, who went on the Honor's Flight to Washington DC in October. Our soldiers and veterans live by Kennedy's quote. Now it is up to us...

A Veterans Day ceremony will be held at the West Central Middle School in Stronghurst Tuesday. Hope you'll be there.

The Christmas Walks are Friday, Nov. 20th 5-7 pm in Stronghurst and Tuesday, Dec. 2nd in La Harpe.

The Quill is working on the annual Christmas book this month to be at the printer's December 3rd for December 9th insertion into the papers.
