Every 5 years the family of Carl and Gertrude Kreun (grandparents of Laura Muller of Stronghurst) reunites for a family reunion to celebrate their rich heritage. Carl and Gertie had 12 living children, one of whom was Laura's father. This year 2 of the 3 siblings still alive brought the relatives together at Turkey Run State Park for a weekend of fellowship and fun, and lots of getting reacquainted times, as well as swim exercise in the pool, kayaking down the river, and hiking the numerous trails in the park. Forty-three cousins traveled from several states including CA, MN, IL, MI, OH and met at the front entrance of the lodge for a group picture before going back to their homes.
