Love La Harpe MAPPING Town Clean-Up Successful

The Love La Harpe Mapping committee held their Clean-up event on Saturday, May 2nd to spruce the town up along Main Street in La Harpe.

The group consisted of about 20 or so volunteers that gathered on a beautiful day to get ready for Summerfest and other summer activities and help beautify La Harpe. All help make a big difference, as volunteers scooped, swept, picked up trash and cleaned the streets and sidewalks along Main Street from Dobson's Welding on the west part of town, to R&D Foods on the east of town.

A cookout was held with donations accepted to help raise money for flower pots, benches and trash cans for the Love La Harpe beautification project.

Four new benches and some flower pots have been added to Main Street with more on the way.
