MADDY BRENT
Meet your West Central Senior, Maddy Brent. Maddy is the daughter of Rodney and Amanda Brent of Gladstone.
Rodney is a pharmacist for Takeda Pharmaceuticals, and Amanda is the Jr./Sr. High School Choral Teacher .
Her grandparents are Donald and Beverly Brent of Stronghurst, and Robert and Diane Mansheim, of Burlington, Iowa.
Maddy has four brothers: Brandon(21), Mitchell(13), Jackson(11), and Spencer(8).
Maddy's high school activities include- volleyball, basketball, softball, student council, Choir, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and she is a member of the National Honors Society.
Her work experience has been a technician at Brent Family Pharmacy.
Maddy is a member of St. Mary and Patrick's Catholic Church in West Burlington, Iowa.
Her future plans are to attend the St. Louis College of Pharmacy and to become a pharmacist.
Her Motto For Life is:
"Be kind. Work hard. Stay humble. Smile often. Stay loyal. Keep honest. Be thankful. Never stop learning. Love deeply. And above all, never forget to trust God always and know that with Him all things are possible."
Her advice to West Central underclassman are-
"Don't sweat the small stuff.
"Surround yourself with those who want the best for you and bring out the best in you.
"Get involved and make as many memories as possible.
"Enjoy every moment and don't wish it away because it goes by fast.
"Happiness is achieved when you stop waiting for what's ahead and start making the most of the moments you're in now."
