At the Love La Harpe MAPPING meeting on Tuesday, February 24, 2015, the group combined into three action groups to work on their BHAGS (Big Hairy Audacious Goals).
Group one is to beautify the town, group two is to develop a great commerce center and group three is to develop a manufacturing sector.
All of the groups were working on great ideas and ways to make their ideas work.
One thing group one is working on is a Main Street clean up project. If anyone would be interested in joining them for a day of cleaning, please notify Ryan Kienast, Jeanette Ford, Candy Lee, Elaine Hrabel, Karen Nudd, Joe Mondorf, Greg Blythe, Kurt Dittmer, Deb Mondorf, Christy Kienast or Larissa Storm. Look for the date and times to be determined soon.
In order to aid us in this effort we will be needing some items; brooms, rakes, garbage bags, gloves, pruners,etc.
Remember students, community service looks good on college applications.
The Love La Harpe Mapping committee will be having their next public meeting on Tuesday, March 10th at the clubhouse at 6 p.m. Come out and join us. This is a great way to get our whole community involved.
