The Hancock-Henderson Quill, Inc.
Quill Publisher Dessa Rodeffer, took "The Quill" along to the Iowa Speedway NASCAR CAMPING WORLD TRUCK RACES Friday, in Newton, Iowa, and found that the Grand Marshal who instructed the drivers to "start their engines" was none other than Iowa's popular Chris Soules. Soules was on the TV series this spring: "The Bachelor" followed by "Dancing With The Stars". Chris came to the racetrack as special guest of race sponsor "American Ethanol" and spoke in their tent about the importance of ethanol and supporting it for the future of America and the farming communities. "I hold the same sort of values that are so important to the Midwestern farmer," Chris said. Afterwards. Chris asked if he could receive a copy of The Quill so he could read up on what's happening in the rural Quill area where he sometimes travels buying farm ground at local auctions, he said.
When you go on a trip, take "The Quill" along and have your picture taken with it and send it to us. Let's see where all the Quill can travel.
