The American Flag represents the freedom we Americans have. It has been purchased with a cost much greater than what we pay for it at the store.
To acknowledge that it was paid for with the blood and lives of so many of our citizens (our loved ones and our families and friends) should be essential.
It would seem that we would find it an honor to display it every day. Obviously that does not happen.
But, could we each make an effort this June 14th to have "Old Glory" wave proudly in the wind?
