Sheena DeBock was born in Olean, New York on April 21, 1993. Sheena spent 13 years in Olena with her family before moving to Burlington, Iowa in 2008 with her family.
She is the daughter of Deanna Crosson. Deanna currently lives in West Burlington, IA and works at the ammunition plant in Middletown, IA.
Sheena has six siblings: Brittny (18), Taylor (15), Hunter (11), Cole (10), Gabe (14), and Lexi (10).
Sheena graduated from Burlington High School in 2012. While in high school, Sheena participated in Soccer, Cheerleading, and Volleyball. She was also part of B.H.S's Drama Club and Renaissance Club. During her senior year, Sheena spent a lot of time focusing on art and computer graphic design.
While speaking with Sheena, she began to reminisce about the first time she met her fiance, Kaleb Shultz. Sheena and Kaleb met at the Miracle Car Wash in Burlington, IA.
Kaleb was finishing up his senior year of high school, and was met with his last high school prom. Sheena had already graduated high school the year before, but given Kaleb's interest, she decided that she would also attend "one last prom."
Two and a half years later, Kaleb and Sheena and their beautiful son, Layton Shultz now live in Stronghurst. Layton recently celebrated his very first birthday on June 3, 2015.
Sheena now studies Adolescent Psychology at Ashford University. With her degree she plans to eventually use her amazing conversational skills to help children and families as a Family and Adolescent Counselor.
For the summer of 2015 Sheena is working as an AmeriCorps Volunteer in Service to America (VISTA) at the Family Outreach Community Center in Stronghurst. During the school year Sheena works as a Title 1 teacher for West Central School District. Prior to working at West Central, Sheena worked at Miracle Car Wash.
As a new mother, Sheena has little time to dedicate to any new hobbies, but her love for her family serves as a great hobby. Sheena spends a lot of time taking care of Layton and hanging out with Kaleb and the rest of her family. Together Sheena and Kaleb enjoy four wheeling, fishing, and enjoying television shows such as The Bachelor, Friends, and Grey's Anatomy.
Sheena and her family are still developing their family traditions; but as for now, Sheena and Kaleb enjoy their annual family vacations to Wisconsin Dells and the Ozarks.
Sheena is a firm believer that "everything happens for a reason." Sheena has witnessed adolescent/teen adversity in the form of life-threatening depression. From these experiences she has developed a true passion for adolescent and family counselling.
Sheena plans to help people "live in the moment" in order to help children overcome the psychological struggles of our day and age.
