Meet Your NeighborMeet your neighbor Ashley Derby of La Harpe.
Ashley, her husband Marcques and their son, Bryson moved to La Harpe in August of 2015.
Ashley is the daughter of Susan Hummer of West Burlington, IA and Ron Kienast, also of Burlington, IA. She has one sister and one brother. Sister Laura Hummer lives in Burlington, IA and brother, Ryan (Christy) Kienast. Ashley has 3 nieces and one nephew; Haylee, Gracie, Lilyann and Hunter. I love my nieces and nephews!
Ashley is the granddaughter of the late Patricia Hummer of Burlington, IA and Sam and Jim Inman, also of Burlington, IA.
Ashley was raised in West Burlington, Iowa. She graduated from West Burlington High school in 2007 and from Southeastern Community College in 2010 with an Associates' degree.
Ashley married Marcques Derby on August 18th, 2007. They have one son, Bryson who is one and a half years old.
In her spare time, Ashley enjoys reading, going to concerts, hanging out with family and friends, and learning sign language.
One of her favorite memories is driving to Florida with her brother to visit family.
