Meet Your Neighbor

Meet your neighbor and Illini West Senior Kylie Selmon of La Harpe. Kylie was born on August 24, 1997, the daughter of Cindy and Lonny Fry of La Harpe.

Her mom grew up in La Harpe and is a paraprofessional at La Harpe Elementary. Her dad works at ChemGro and grew up in Wisconsin.

Kylie attended La Harpe Elementary and La Harpe Junior High before starting high school at Illini West.

She has one younger brother, Colter who attends 7th grade at La Harpe Junior High. Colter plays basketball and runs track.

Kylie is the granddaughter of Carol Selmon and Scott Dobson of La Harpe. Grandma Carol works at R&D Foods and Grandpa Scott owns Dobson Welding.

Kylie's favorite high school memory was being approved for early graduation.

After graduation, Kylie plans to attend Innovations Hair Design in Macomb to get her cosmetology license with plans to work in a salon.
