Christmas Book Is Underway

Our 2014 Christmas book "The Tastes and Colors of Christmas" is over halfway done and it must be at the printer's by Thursday to be printed for insertion in next week's December 10th Quill edition: I must hurry!

Oh the things I could do if I only had more time.

People amaze me, however, and do such great things.with their 24 hours of time each day,

One of the stories I was excited to include in this year's Christmas book, is a short story about a local farm couple who started growing the pumpkins for many of our pumpkin pies. They also are producers of other foods for our tables.

Many recipes have been sent to us or dropped off and we are so appreciative of your contributions to make this book a keepsake.

Thank you to all of the local businesses who continually support this community Christmas book with their Christmas and New Year's greetings.

The Christmas book is truly a reminder of the reason for the season, the birth of the King of Kings, Jesus Christ.
