Meet Your Neighbor Brooke Day.

Brooke resides with her family in rural Carman and has been employed as Operations Assistant at the Raritan State Bank since 2009.

She was born in Burlington, Iowa on April 1, 1987 and raised, her entire life, in Raritan.

In 2005 Brooke graduated from Southern High School and from Western Illinois University in 2009 with a major in finance.

On September 4, 2010 Brooke married Mackenzie Day. Mackenzie is employed, in Stronghurst, at Evan's Farms as a farm laborer.

Her mother Paula Stull is retired from Western Illinois University in Macomb and currently works part-time at Bygones and Buds and she also babysits for her granddaughter, Claire.

Her father, Ted Stull, is employed at Yetters Manufacturing in Colchester.

Her brother Seth, is married to Jill and they live in Ft. Madison, Iowa.

Brooke has one daughter Claire, born on January 27, 2013. Her second birthday is soon coming up.

She is an active member of the Raritan Baptist Church in Raritan.

Her hobbies are reading, spending time with family and friends and trying out new recipes.

A favorite trip she has taken was in the summer of 2004 when she traveled with her parents and her brother to the French Quarter in New Orleans, Orange Beach, Florida and attended a Braves game in Atlanta, Georgia.

But, Brooke says, she and her family also looks forward to the trips around Henderson County and looks forward every year to attending the Stronghurst Christmas Walk
