The Raritan Village trustees met at the Raritan Fire House November 13, with trustees Sammy Blender, Gary Powless, Phil Anders, Rob Williamson, Michael Knapp, Dwayne Magee, President Earl Waller and Clerk Jim Blender present.
President Waller led the trustees in the Pledge of Allegiance and Trustee Blender opened with prayer.
The minutes were approved as were the following Bills: Phil Andes $101.58;

President reported that the new street sign had arrived and was ready to put up. And that he had patched the hole by the Steve Stull residence.
It was approved to have Travis Winters rewire the Christmas light poles.
An amendment by trustee Blender, seconded by trustee Williamson if Travis Winters can not do it, to check with Shane Reed. Motion carried.
The flags will be taken down on November 14 at 9:00 a.m.
A discussion was held about the salaries.
On a motion by trustee Blender, seconded by trustee Knapp that the salary for President be at $1,200.00 per annual year, Clerk $2,400.00 per annual year; Treasurer $1,000.00 per annual year. Motion carried.
Gary Powless reported he was resigning effective April 30 as water meter reader.
Mike Knapp volunteered to take over for him.
It was decided to put up the Christmas decorations on November 29th at 9:00 a.m.
