Meet your neighbor and Illini West Senior Aubrie Carlisle of the Carthage area.
Aubrie is the daughter of Mike and Toni Carlisle. Her father Mike is a partner in the family farming business while her mother Toni works for CGB Burnside and Western Illinois Agri-Systems.
Aubrie was born on May 20, 1997 at the Fort Madison Hospital. She was raised on the family farm located between Ferris and Adrian. She has 3 siblings.
Her oldest brother, Dustin, 23, just graduated from SIU Carbondale this past spring with a communication major in radio, television, and digital media.
Her brother, Kale, 20, attends Western Illinois University and is studying Agriculture.
Sydney, her 13 year old sister, is in the 8th grade at Carthage Middle School.
Aubrie's grandparents are Gene and Mary Jo Scanlan of Burnside, and Charles and Lina Kill and the late Stewart Carlisle, all of Carthage.
Aubrie is a High Honor Student at Illini West and is involved in 4-H, the National Honor Society, Youth Leadership, LOOP, International Club, and her church's youth group.
She also enjoys playing on the Charger basketball, volleyball, and track teams.
She has been working at the Carthage Middle School since the beginning of the school year.
Every summer, Aubrie with her family, aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents, vacation in Branson where they spend most of their time on the lake in "Grandpa s boat."
After graduation in the spring of 2015, Aubrie plans to attend college.
Although she is undecided as to where, she plans to major in nursing or speech pathology and says she maybe play a sport.
