Meet Your Neighbor Kimberly Ann Peters, born May 26, 1967 at Burlington, Iowa, and presently of Lomax.

Kim graduated in 1985 from Dallas City High School.

She owns Peters Greenhouse and Garden Center in Lomax with outlets in West Burlington, Iowa and Carthage.

Kim also is employed at Stage II in Ft. Madison, Iowa from August until January when it's time to start greenhouse work.

She is a member of the Lomax Christian Church.

Her parents are Jack and Dixie Todd of Lomax. Jack is employed as a supervisor at the American Ordinance Plant at Middletown, Iowa and Dixie is retired. Dixie formerly managed Lomax Fast Break and worked at Bowlyou Tax and Accounting in Carman.

One brother, Wesley Todd (Shelly), is a welder for CBI, building water towers.

Grandparents are Dick and Mable Cox, both deceased. Dick was a farmer and Mable was an Avon representative.

Kim and hubby, Mike, were married March 9, 2002. Mike is employed at American Ordinance in Middletown, Iowa in Research and Development.

They have two sons, Zachary Michael who will be 22 in July and Lucas Mitchell who will be 16 in July.

Zachary is employed at HyVee on Agency Street in Burlington, Iowa as an assistant manager and attends Southeastern Community College in West Burlington, Iowa. He enjoys weight lifting.

Lucas will be a sophomore this fall at Illini West. He enjoys being on the football and wrestling teams.

The family enjoys their annual trip to Florida after closing the greenhouse the end of June.
