Village of Raritan July 10th Meeting

The President and trustees of the Village of Raritan, met in the meeting room of the Raritan Fire House on July 10, 2014 with Trustees Sammy Blender, Dwayne Magee, Rob Williamson, Phil Anders, Michael Knapp, and Clerk Jim Blender answering roll call.

A motion was made by Trustee Blender, seconded by Trustee Anders that the Resolution for the sale of the Kahl property and 204-206 S. Trenton that was received from the village attorney be approved as presented.

Motion carried.

It was decided the flags will be taken down on Friday, July 11th at 4:00 p.m.

A motion was made by Trustee Blender, seconded by Trustee Knapp to issue a building permit for Ruby Bowen to put a new addition on her property (garage and entrance).

Motion carried.

A motion was made by Trustee Knapp, seconded by Trustee Williamson to have Cavanaugh, Davies, Blackman, Cramblet prepare the annual village AFR for 2013-2014.

Motion carried.

Clerk Blender called the meeting to order and led the trustees in saying the Pledge of Allegiance. Trustee Blender opened with prayer.

On a motion by Trustee Magee, seconded by Trustee Williamson the minutes were approved as presented.

A motion was made by Trustee Anders, seconded by Trustee Blender to approve the above bills.

The meeting was adjourned to the next regular meeting night.
