Meet your busy neighbor Michelle Whitmore of La Harpe, formerly of Burlington, Iowa.

Michelle was born in Iowa City, Iowa on June 22, 1982. She was raised in Oquawka until she was a teenager and then the family moved to Burlington, IA.

Michelle lived in Burlington until recently when she moved to La Harpe with her mother.

Michelle is the daughter of Cheryl Rich of La Harpe, formerly of Manila, Arkansas and Michael Whitmore of Burlington, IA. Her mother is now retired from truck driving and her dad Michael is a paper carrier for the Burlington Hawk Eye.

Michelle attended schools in Oquawka and in Burlington. She is the middle child of three children.

Her oldest sister Dianna Whitmore, 33, lives in East Moline, and her younger sister Ashley Whitmore lives in La Harpe.

Michelle has 5 nieces:

Keona Lewis-16,

Aekerya Whitmore-13,

Kimariyona Whitmore-10, and Sabrina Johnson-10.

She also has 4 nephews:

Jay Johnson-12,

Hayden Sparrow-5,

Landen Sparrow-2,

and Corday Alexander-5.

Michelle also is a great aunt with 1 great niece:

Timiahyah Jones-3, and 1 great nephew Ja'Mauri Barnes, 9 months.

Michelle is the granddaughter of the late Harold and Helen Mondorf of La Harpe and Evelyn Siens and the late Roger Siens of Oquawka.

Michelle is currently not working, but worked previously for the last 5 years at the Burlington Care Center as a cook.
