Meet your neighbor Illini West Senior, Ashley Perry of La Harpe.
Ashley is the daughter of Kim Perry of La Harpe and Wes Perry of Burlington, Iowa. Kim works for Snyder Lance in Burlington and Wes works at Hawkeye Moving Services of Iowa City.
Ashley was born on March 6, 1996 in Burlington, IA.
She is an only child and is the granddaughter of Eldon and Nancy Hardisty of La Harpe and Jim and Erma Perry of Burlington, IA.
Eldon works for Roger Brew on his farm and Nancy works for Home Health Care.
Jim works for Burlington Northern Railroad and Erma works at JC Penneys, Burlington.
Ashley loves sports. She especially loves playing softball and volleyball.
She loves watching the St. Louis Cardinals baseball games and Dallas Cowboys football. She also is a true outdoors girl, loving nature, camping and fishing.
Ashley was active in the Girl Scouts of America until 8th grade.
Her most memorable vacation was going to Montana with her boyfriend and his family last summer. She also enjoys going to the Illinois State Fair.
She loves to hang out with friends. Her most memorable high school moments have been Illini West Homecoming, Prom and after-Prom, going to the Charger football games, and lots of good memories playing softball with her teammates.
After Ashley graduates from Illini West next Spring, she plans on attending Southeastern Community College for a fine arts degree and to play softball, and then transferring to SIUE for Interior Design and continue playing softball.
