Monday, May 6, the Dallas City/La Harpe Track Team competed in the IESA Sectional Track Meet at Bushnell. Several athletes competed and 9 qualified for the IESA state track meet which will be held this weekend, May 10 and May 11th at Eastside Centre in East Peoria.
Athletes qualifying for state are as follows:
8th Boys 100 Meters- 1st-Carson McKee- (undefeated on season)
8th Boys 200 Meters- 1st-Carson Mckee  (undefeated on season)
8th Boys 4x100 Relay- 1st Joe Adkisson, Carson McKee, Joe Nichol, Aden Trout. (undefeated in 1A schools) (Kevin Oliver, alternate)
8th Boys 4x400 Relay 2nd Aden Trout, Joe Nichol, Brandon Buttz, Thomas Link,
8th Grade Boys Long Jump Joe Adkisson 2nd
