Hello readers!
I hope you all are having a fantastic summer week. The weather has been beautiful, until this rain today!
Last Friday, the 21st, was my 19th birthday! I took a mini vacation with some of my friends to Mississippi. My best friend, who goes to Ole Miss is taking summer classes so we stayed with her for the weekend.
It is crazy to experience how different colleges are in different places. Southern college life is way different from what I experienced at Northern Illinois. The buildings are different, the campus is different, but most of all how the people dress is completely 100% different.
Girls wear t-shirts that are 3 sizes to big and shorts that you can't even see under their oversized t-shirts. Guys wear jean shorts or even shorts that look a little too small and almost always have on either sandals or Sperrys.
It is crazy to think that we think other countries are so diverse, but right in our country, just 9 hours away, things are completely different.
I had an absolutely wonderful weekend with my best friend and three of my other amazing friends in Mississippi!
For everyone who read my column last time, I have not been very productive on the wedding planning! There are so so many decisions to make and I feel like I am so busy all the time. Hopefully, I can get some stuff done and update you all a little better next time!
Have a wonderful week everyone!
