The Village of Raritan trustees met in regular session in the Raritan Fire House July 11, with Trustees Blender, Anders, Magee, Powless, Knapp, Williamson, President Waller and Clerk Blender answering roll call. Trustee Sammy Blender opened with prayer, and all approved the minutes from the June meeting.
Bills presented as follows were approved: Phil Anders $84.00; Waste Management $986.00; Ameren IP $865.62; Dennis Rankin $194.80; Dallas Rural Water $645.66; Jay Blender $540.00; PDC $14.50; Murphy's $200.00; Thompson Insurance $1,016.00; Kevin Magee $115.00; Liberty Flag $33.50; IRWA $245.90; Deluxe $91.74; Ron Stombaugh $192.50; Carlyn Anders $55.00; Gary Powless $92.00.
A discussion was held about painting the shut off valve covers.
It was decided to take down the flags after the meeting.
A copy of a Certified Water System Operation Contract was passed out for the trustees to review. A motion was made by trustee and it was approved by vote.
With unanimous approval, the board meeting was adjourned to the next regular meeting night.
