On May 21 Vern Comstock of Hamilton traveled to Washington, DC with other veterans on the Land of Lincoln Honor Flight. The 87 veterans left Springfield via chartered flight and were welcomed home by a large group of people at Capitol Airport. They toured the World War II, Vietnam and Korean war memorials, Air and Space Museum and witnessed the changing of the guard at Arlington Cemetery. He was accompanied by his son, Max who lives in Springfield. When you go on a trip, take "The Quill" along and have your picture taken with it and then send it to us. Let's see where all "The Quill" can travel.
