Meet your neighbor Tiffany (Mershon) Bangel of Hubert, North Carolina formerly of La Harpe.
Tiffany was born on January 5, 1984 in Macomb and raised in La Harpe, the daughter of Mike Mershon and Brenda (David) Covert.
Her dad (Mike) is the owner/operator for Mershon Trucking in La Harpe.
Her mother (Brenda) lives in Dallas City and is a medical assistant at the Family Rural Health Clinic in La Harpe.
Tiffany graduated from La Harpe High School in 2002. She then attended Carl Sandburg College for Cosmetology and DeVry University. She has worked for Inspire Hair Salon for the last 9 months, after being a stay at home mommy.
Tiffany married Bill Bangel on October 30, 2009. Bill is from Morristown, Indiana and a Sargent for the United States Marine Corps. He served our country for 6 1/2 years.
The couple has one son, Maximus Dean, who is 13 months old.
Tiffany has one brother and one sister.
Brother Kevin and his wife, Madison recently moved to La Harpe; he works for the Burlington Junction Railway and they are expecting their first child in September.
Sister Kelsey graduated from Illini West in May and is planning on furthering her education in college.
Tiffany is the granddaughter of Charles and Leota DeJaynes of Dallas City, and of Larry and Vicki Mershon of Macomb, and of the late Deanna Mershon.
Tiffany's hobbies include going to the beach, spending quality time with family and traveling.
