This Sunday, March 11th at 2:00 a.m. is Daylight Savings Time. We "Spring Forward!" one hour which actually means we lose an hour out of our day.
Then, before your know it, St. Patrick's Day will be here Saturday, March 17th and if you are not Irish, especially, you better wear green or you will get pinched.
And, three days later on the 20th (just 13 days from today, Wednesday, March 7) it will be ELECTION DAY.
I hope if you are not a candidate for office, you know who is running for office and you have visited about their stand on the issues we face here in Illinois and in Washington. The state of our state and our nation is due to our choices (or lack of) on Election Day.
It's a good time to do some research, think of the consequences if we don't push to elect good representation.
Good folks running for office, need and deserve our support by vote, by money, and by lots of prayers.
Will Rogers said, "After all-it's a great country, but you can't live in it for nothing."
We must do our part to keep it great.
