The Raritan Village trustees met in the meeting room of the Raritan Fire House September 13, 2012 with trustees Sammy Blender, Phil Anders, Dwayne Magee, Gary Powless, Rob Williamson and Richard Knapp answering roll call.
Trustee Blender opened with prayer.
A discussion was held about the Livermore, Hensley/Savage properties. The board agreed to proceed with both court cases.

A motion was made by trustee Powless, seconded by trustee Anders to have trustee Blender to pick out the new LED Christmas lights and bring her suggestions back to the next meeting for board to approve. Motion carried.
The president reported that someone had complained about dogs running loose in village. Village residents need to call the dog catcher at 309/221-1773 to report dogs running loose.
A motion was made by trustee Magee, seconded by trustee Powless and unanimous apprBills were approved for payment as follows: Phil Anders $143.56; Jay Blender $590.00; Waste Management $948.60; Ameren IP $1441.49; Dennis Rankin $154.80; Dallas Rural Water $767.01; Murphy's $150.00; PDC $14.50; Gary Powless $80.00; Municipal Clerks of Illinois $45.00; Knapp Construction $1281.00; Carlyn Anders $100.00; Ron Stombaugh $682.50. al of the board the meeting was adjourned to the next regular meeting night. Motion carried.
