Meet your neighbor Kirsten Juarez of Fort Madison, IA, formerly of La Harpe.
Kirsten is teaching the fifth grade class at La Harpe Elementary School. This is her first year teaching.
She was raised in La Harpe and graduated from La Harpe High School in the Class of 2007.
She attended Western Illinois University from 2007-2011 graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education.
Kirsten and her husband, Robert, were married in July of 2011. They have a 2 year old daughter, Hope.
Robert grew up in Aurora. He works as a deputy in Lee County.
Kirsten is the daughter of Rex and Debbie Johnson of La Harpe.
Kirsten has one sister, Kelly, who is currently attending Western Illinois University.
She is the granddaughter of Eugene and Betty Johnson of La Harpe and Don and Sonja Mabry of Carthage.
She is proud to be one of the members of the last graduating class of La Harpe High School.
She has enjoyed previous vacations to Mexico and Hawaii.
Kirsten enjoys reading, swimming and spending time with her family.
