La Harpe still under a water reduction ban

The La Harpe City Council met on Monday, September 10, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at the La Harpe City Hall.

All council members were present.

Water Department employee Tim Graves shared that the water usage for the city is down and it is at its lowest for the last two years for the car washes in town. We are still under a water ban for no outside watering, house washing, etc.

Trick or Treat night was discussed and will a decision will be made on the date and time at the next council meeting.

The city hall building has developed several problems that need addressed. Mayor Brown has been busy checking to see if grants are available for municipal buildings. They need a cost estimate and are working with a contractor for that estimate before the grant can be written.

The meeting was adjourned at 7:30 p.m.
