Village of Raritan Trustee Meeting

The Village of Raritan Trustees met in the meeting room of the Raritan Fire House May 10, 2012.

The President reported that effective June 1, 2012, all water bills can be paid at Thompson Insurance office in Raritan on Monday thru Fridays only.

It was decided by Trustees to put the American flags up on May 24th at 5:00 p.m., in observance of Memorial Day holiday.

The culvert on Vorhees Street south of the museum needs replaced. It was decided to get an estimate for this project.

A discussion was held about pouring a concrete slab for the portable potty at the park and it was approved to get an estimate for this project, too.

Trustee Sammy Blender opened the Thursday evening meeting with prayer with Trustees Gary Powless, Rob Williamson, Dwayne Magee, Phil Anders, President Earl Waller, and Sammy Blender were present.

After approval of the minutes, the following bills were approved:

A motion by Trustee Anders, seconded by Trustee Magee to table action about the Hensley-Joseph and Livermore properties until the next meeting, carried.
