Meet Your Neighbor, Miranda Wallace of Stevenson Lake, who is a recent graduate of the Class of 2012 at West Central High School.

Miranda was born in Burlington, Iowa on March 7, 1994 and raised at Stevenson Lake, rural Carman.

Her parents are Mr. and Mrs. Tony Wallace. Her mother, Melissa works at Loads of Fun Coin Laundry where she is also the owner. She also works at Walgreens in Burlington, Iowa. Her father, Tony is retired but owns rental property in Burlington. She also has one grandmother who lives in Burlington but is from Italy.

Miranda has an older sister Melissa, who is thirty four and lives in Janesville, Wisconsin. She has a daughter, Annie who is three and a son, Jacob who is one. Miranda also has a twin sister, Mariah who is eighteen and will attend Eastern Illinois University in the fall.

Miranda was involved in many activities in High School including, Student Council, Volleyball, Bowling, FBLA, NHS, WYSE Team, Math Club, and Spanish Club. Miranda was also crowned the 2011 Henderson County Fair Queen. She says it was an "amazing" experience!

In her spare time Miranda loves to cook, swim, and travel. Some of her favorite vacations include visiting family in Italy and going to Costa Rica this past February.

Her future plans are to attend Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, Iowa to study Pre-Vet Medicine and specialize in exotic animals such as tigers.
