Stronghurst Quasquicentennial Parade Winners

 

Most Creative winner was Eagle View Community Health System with their "Super Heroes" float pulled by a John Deere Model M owned by Duane Harden.

Best Theme winner was a float entitled "The Southern Years" with many items of Southern Schools memorabilia displayed. This float was prepared by the Klossing families. The float was pulled by a 1944 Massey tractor owned by the Klossing family and driven by Tyler and Leah Klossing.

On Saturday, the Stronghurst Quasquicentennial Parade held on June 30, 2012, had 76 entries of various types ( floats, tractors, old cars and trucks, horses, walkers, politicians, etc.).

The Quasquicentennial Committee and the Stronghurst Boosters Club each provided a monetary award for the "Best Theme" award and the "Most Creative" award.
